Broken Promise..!

The summer sun went down on our love ago,
And left it to September rain to wash away our soul.

How beautiful and true it was, when we layed benathe the stars,
And swore we'd never say goodbye; forever joined our hearts.

Two seprate beings were joined as one, as our souls were interwined,
With a promise time would never bring the day we said goodbye.

Alas, how sad a day did came, and time's greatest lovers took seprate roads,
But in love's soul there is a distant hope, our path may someday lead us home.
