Important Information

1. Are you at least 18 years of age?



2. You should be the webmaster/web mistress of the site?



3. Is your site Family Safe? Good to visit for the members of all ages?



4. Is your site in English or do you have an English version? I can read Hindi & English only, so if it is in any other language then I can't read it & If I can't read it I can't rate it.



5. Does your site have at least five pages of original content for your main theme?



6. Do you have a privacy statement and a disclaimer? Do you collect or obtain information of any kind?



7. Does your site comply with the Child Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and is it labeled with a correct statement? (Even though this is a US law we would hope that you would comply.)



8. If you have a “Fan site" is it officially authorized?



9. If you win one of our awards, you have to agree not to make any alterations to it.



10. You will be required to wait for a period of 30 days before re-submitting an application or upgrade. (Unless you are disqualified in the initial evaluation.)



11. Do you have any copyright violations? If Yes, Please don't apply.



12. Your site should not be for commercial, advertising or for any monetary endeavor?



13. If I have to login to your site or register in order to see the content then I will not do that.



14. If you link directly to another site for graphics or content, Bandwidth Piracy is unacceptable.



15. Do you use scripts that take control of my browser settings or which prevent me from leaving your site? If so you cannot qualify.



16. You should have a horizontal scroll at 800 X 600 resolutions.



17. Is your site strictly for gaming? That cannot be a good option to rate.



18. Does your site have any "Under Construction" signs, "Coming Soon" signs, or links to pages of irrelevant content? If so there are more chances of disqualification



19. Do you have a way for visitors to contact you? (Preferably on every page.) It could give you more score for qualification.



20. Do your pages open in the same domain and reside on the same server? Photo Albums and other such items will be given consideration.



21. If you have music or a flash page is there a way to turn it off or bypass it? If not it could decrease your qualification score.



22. We are looking for family friendly sites that promote good family values. Does your site promote the use of tobacco, alcohol or drugs? Does it promote or encourage any form of Hatred, Violence, Warez, Wicca or Craft, Pyramid Schemes, Voodoo, Witchcraft, The Occult, Nudity, Illegal Activities, or Satanism of any kind including links or banners to this type of site? Does it promote or encourage cruelty to animals or humans? Does it promote or encourage inappropriate blood, gore, or suicide? Does it discriminate against other people or religious beliefs? If I find anything offensive the review is over period! I am a fairly open minded person, but I will not review this type of site. If you were not sure about what I am saying, would your six year old be able to view it? If its safe for all then only apply.



23. Lastly you must specify the age of applicant somewhere in description. This is a secret question, which lets us know that you have read our criteria till end & also helps us maintain the cyber law by not taking the information from anyone under the age of 18.
